It could be E. curvula, but I wouldn't be able to say what it is with much confidence. Could also be Eragrostis setifolia or E. falcata out that way.

Hey Matthew, they were noisy but not quite as noisy as sulphur crested cockatoos. I've got some good footage which I'll upload to YouTube once I get a chance.

I've never seen a large flock of these birds, are they noisy like the Sulphur-crested Cockatoos?
